超级联赛

Super Lig is highest football division in Turkey formed by top 18 clubs in the country. Each club plays two matches one as host and one as guest against every other club in the division. For one season each club plays 34 matches. Clubs are ranked in table according to points won, head-to-head results, goal difference and goals scored. At the end of the season top two clubs qualifies for UEFA Champion League, 3rd and 4th club are qualified for UEFA Europa League. Last spot for UEFA Europa League is given to winner of Turkish Cup. If the winner is already registered for any UEFA tournament the spot is given to 5th club from end season table. Last three clubs from the championship are directly relegated to lower TFF 1.Lig. Their spots are taken from first two clubs in TFF 1.Lig. third spot is given to the winner from play-off rounds played between clubs ranked from 3rd to 6th in TFF 1.Lig.
