A-Лига

A – League is highest football division in Australia and is only one national football division. Contains 10 clubs – 9 of them from Australia, and 1 from New Zealand. Each team plays 3 matches against every other team in the division for a total 27 matches for a season. The team plays 2 home and one away match against an opponent. In following season plays 1 home and 2 away against same opponent. Clubs are ranked in table according to points won, goal difference goals scored. At the end of the season first six teams are entering in Finals Series which is sudden death football competition. The winner of final series is the champion of Australia.
