Football in Wales
Football in Wales are ruled by Football Association of Wales which also governing Wales national football team. National team qualifies only two time for big international football tournaments, once for FIFA World Cup during 1958 and reached quarter-finals and once for UEFA European Championship during 2016 and reached semi-finals. Wales is ranked in 54th place in FIFA all-time table. Football league system in Wales are mainly represented by first two divisions. Highest one football division is Welsh Premier League formed by 12 clubs. The second division is divided in 2 groups named Cymru Alliance and Welsh Football League Division One both with 16 clubs.
Every year Football Association of Wales organize national football tournament named Welsh Cup. In this event participate only clubs which play in Welsh football league system.
