Superettan

Superettan is second-highest football division in Sweden. It`s formed by 16 clubs. Each club play 30 matches for the season – one as host and one as guest, against every other team in Superettan. Clubs are ranked in table according points they won, goal difference and goals scored. At the end of the season top two teams are promoted to highest football division named Allsvenskan. 3rd team from Superettan plays a play-off round with 14th team from Allsvenskan to determine which will play in Allsvenskan and which one in Superettan. Two teams from bottom of the end season table are directly relegated to lower Division 1 and their spots are taken from first two teams in Division 1. 13th and 14th clubs from Superettan are playing play-off rounds against 3rd and 4th teams from Division 1. The two winners takes 2 spots in Superettan and the lost clubs plays in Division 1 for the next season.
